i recently downloaded optifine and some shader packs. but when i activated any of the shaders i had in game, everything froze, and i had to force quit the game. when i had output log on, i noticed that several hundred errors were appearing that said: gl error 0x502. the picture shows my output log and the errors. i have the newest version of my graphix card installed, and minecraft is a selected program in program options in my nvidia control panel. i don't now what the problem is. i have good pc specs that could handle shaders very well. I have had it working before, but that was like two years ago on older versions.
I deleted the .minecraft folder, and reinstalled it, and it works fine now. if u get errors that look like mine, try doing the same thing, but remember to make a back up of important stuff like your singleplayer worlds.
