So, in this seed I happened to spawn within easy walking distance of an igloo, so I decided to make that my home. I decided to carve out a space in the ladder-case between the igloo in the basement to facilitate a nether portal and an enchantment room, so I climbed down a bit, clung to the ladder, mined out a block...and all of sudden the entire ladder broke and dropped, causing me to plummet to my death.
After a few repeats, I took some ladders, flew out of the basement with creative mode, and tried to place the ladders on an outside wall. One could be placed just fine, but as soon as another was placed above or below it, they both dropped.
Is this happening to anyone else or is my game just glitched?

If you found a bug within the game, report it to bugs.mojang.com , that's what snapshots are for.
I did, but I wanted to know if it was unique to me or not, just to narrow down the potential cause(since if it was, it wouldn't be Mojang's fault)
