A few days ago I updated my Windows, and ever since, I cannot get the latest version of Optifine to work. This was also at the same time Mojang was reorganizing their login databases, although I dont see why this has to with my problem (but I thought I would mention it because who even knows anymore?)
Without Optifine, I can open a world perfectly fine and play it at about 60-ish fps, perfectly normal. With Optifine, however, when I try to open any world, it seems to be executing the loading sequence. When it finally tries to load, I am left in the void. Optifine specs in the corner of my screen say I am getting absolutely 0 fps. On servers, The same thing happens but I can see chat normally. I cannot engage in chat because the game at this point doesn't recognize any user input at all.
It may just be me, but this seems very backward. Why would Optifine be causing such a drastic slowdown, let alone any slowdown? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Oh and I did try to reinstall Optifine. Please do, if you believe it will help, ask questions; I'll be glad to answer.
Confirmed on 4 different computers all running Windows 10. I thought it was the 7 other mods, as I have never had problems with Optifine in the past, but tried it alone and it is that crashing out. All 4 computers use drastically different hardware.
