I am trying to get Minecraft to work on an older computer. It has previously been able to run Minecraft, however suddenly it's stopped working. It has a Pentium Dual-Core e2200 that runs at 2.2 GHz, 3 gb RAM, a Nvidia gtx 260 and is running a decent screen that runs at 1440x900 pixels. Yes the computer could stand to have a stronger CPU, but upgrading is not an option as it's an upgraded HP Pavillion and the motherboard is hard coded to only work with this CPU. Every time I start up Minecraft it runs, however while loading into a world it crashes. The crash log is as follows:

Looking around I did find that if you manually change fboEnable to False it is supposed to help, but that didn't work. I also changed the JVM argument so it tries to run on 2 gb RAM, but that didn't help. Any ideas as to what could be causing it or how to fix it?

Looking around I did find that if you manually change fboEnable to False it is supposed to help, but that didn't work. I also changed the JVM argument so it tries to run on 2 gb RAM, but that didn't help. Any ideas as to what could be causing it or how to fix it?
