So on the last computer i had I used mods all the time, and for some reason when i installed forge and put the mods in the mods folder on my new (way better) computer, the world wouldn't load, and Minecraft would crash. At first it would crash before even getting past the launcher. I managed to fix that but now i can't get into my worlds. All of my mods are up to date at 1.11.2 and so is my forge and its the recommended version. I tried a few things like running vanilla minecraft and taking out the META-INF file and neither of those worked. I've run out of ideas so if anyone knows what to do please help me. Thank you, Jay.

Turns out the problem was Optifine. It was in the folder and it said it loaded, but if i dont use Optifine, then it is laggy as all hell, and i can not play a game like that.

Curse PremiumIf there is a crash report, post it. Need more information.

There actually is no crash report, it just stops responding and crashes and says "sorry for the inconvenience".

Curse PremiumRun the basics:
1. Did MC install correctly?
2. Where you able to make a vanilla world?
3. Did Forge install correctly?
4. Did you set the Profile to use Forge?
5. Did you make a test world with just Forge (no mods)?
6. Did you copy the mod(s) into the mods folder (created by Forge)?
7. Are the MC, Forge and mods versions the same?
8. Did you update Java?
8a. Is your OS 64 bit? Install 64 bit Java.
9. Are your drivers (especially graphics) updated?
9a. Don't use Windows Update to check for drivers. Use the hardware manufacturer's websites to check.
10. How much memory is allocated to MC?
