Hi guys. I've been playing minecraft for ages, but I stopped for a while and decided to pick it back up recently. Since I'm on a new computer I had to reinstall it, but I'm having some issues on launch. After clicking the launch button in the new launcher, the game opens up and goes to the "mojang" logo screen like it always has. But then it stops responding and I have to click the x and force close it. Getting the error "Java (tm) platform binary se" is not responding. I've tried to find a fix for a while now, but I can't do it. I need some help.
My rig is:
GeForce GTX 950M
Driver version 378.57
Interl(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @2.5 ghz
7.87 GB RAM
1920 x 1080 Hz display.
The error logs don't really give me anything, no warnings or etc. If theres more info you need let me know. Thanks in advance for the help
It turns out I think it's a java problem. I went to the geforce website and they can't detect my java. I uninstalled and reinstalled java (again) and it gave me the same error and minecraft isn't working still. Send help!

Two recommendations:
1. Update Java. Try downloading the JDK (Java Development Kit), not the JRE (Java Runtime Environment). Sometimes this works better.
2. Update your graphics drivers if you haven't already.
