Hi! So, my display adapter is really crappy and I can't seem to update it at all?
It all started when 1.9 came out. Before, I had warnings saying it wouldn't work at the top, bottom of the minecraft logo but I didn't care and I didn't think it was going to affect me (Boy, was I wrong!), then (1.9 came around) every time I tried playing minecraft, it would crash on me. Every. Single. Time. And still does to this day.
And that's part of the issue, really.
My display adapter won't update. I've downloaded COUNTLESS of updates but it's persistent and always says "Windows has determined that this adapter is up-to-date with your computer!" or some crap like that. It's a Intel(R) Q35 Express Chipset Family, and its driver date is 9/23/2009 (yeah, REAL up-to-date if you ask me.) and version is 8.15.10.1930.
My computer is a Windows 7, 32 bit, I don't know what else to add.
Even the Intel driver update utility tries to update it, but when I press download it crashes, so I had to do it manually and guess what? That sure didn't work, either! I don't know what to do!
So, press the file, accept terms, save the file and let it go through the process? Cause I've done that like, a million times with a bunch of different downloads already and it doesn't work. I'm not sure how i'm supposed to go through this.
Okay, so after I download it, should I restart the system?
Because I just did this, and when I went to check if the adapter updated or not, it didn't.
But it was showing me that the driver was installing and then it told me to restart after it completed, and I did, and well, I still had my old driver.

Downloaded it, "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up-to-date" Wouldn't let me install it.
Sigh, not even in safe mode?

Won't even let me install it in Safe Mode, either.
Never saw it blocking with that message, how are you trying to install it?

Probably the wrong way, I wouldn't doubt it.
Device manager, update driver, browse computer for software, then pick the location.
Dont use device manager, that uses windows update that doesnt work
You have to download the driver I gave you and double click it

Yes, that way, but that should be the correct driver
