So, here we are again (or here I am again). Tried uninstalling McAfee (thanks for letting me know how to do that, as I've been trying for a while but couldn't figure it out), tried deleting existing .minecraft files under %AppData%, and it got further after doing this but still to no avail

I don't have ByteFence installed on this computer.
