I had my grand kids staying over the weekend both Minecraft fans but since they have been playing on my minecraft I am now unable to swap between Creative and Survival. I have also noted that there now also seems to be a new look launcher I guess there has been an up date. I have version 1.11.2.
In the past I would open the game to Lan then select allow cheats on the open the game in lan type /gamemode c to select Creative and then /gamemode s to change back to survival now that does not work and I am stuck in creative mode. also before this problen if you type an incorrect command it would tell you and give you options now that is not the case it just ignores the command. Any Ideas on how to fix this please

Hmm, I never remember being able to use /gamemode C or S (appears to be a feature in the Pocket Edition). Proper syntax for that command is using /gamemode 0,1,2,3. 0 is for survival, 1 is for creative.

Problem solved I have done a new install but kept a backup of my worlds and now it works again
