I have had Minecraft for close to 3 years now, and I have had no problems up until now.
A year ago, I tried to download and install Crazycraft for my PC Minecraft, and it took a while, with forge crashing a lot as well as Voidswrath, not to mention the actual crazy craft itself, with mainly a problem of "Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A Fatal exception has occurred. Program will now exit."
I looked tirelessly on the web for a solution, and the only thing I could find was to allow more RAM for minecraft, but that was not the problem, as I tried that solution many times, and nothing worked. I eventually found a solution that did work, but I cant remember exactly what to do.
I remember having to open a notepad file and change a 'disable' to an 'able' in the code, but that is all I remember. After that, everything was working fine.
But now just recently I was trying to add another mod that used to be apart of Crazycraft back into the Crazycraft files (because they got rid of it with an update) and then suddenly everything started having problems again with the same error code "Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A Fatal exception has occurred. Program will now exit." That code has come up whenever I now try to launch Crazycraft, Vanilla Minecraft or anything, and I cannot seem to solve it at all.
I tried allowing more RAM again, didn't work, I tried uninstalling minecraft and deleting the .minecraft file from my computer and reinstalling everything, but nothing is working.
If someone could please tell me what the method I couldn't remember from before was, that would be most helpful, or another solution that works, please help this is very important!! Thanks
so I went to my environmental settings and changed the JAVA OPTIONS to 4G and tried loading minecraft then but it didn't work, so I had another look and it turned out I had put it as "_Xmx4G" instead of "-Xmx4G". This means you need to be extremely careful with what you type, otherwise everything may crash on you.
Thank you people again so much, I couldn't have done it without you all
In short, when I was changing my allocated RAM allowance for Minecraft, I accidentally made a typo, which somehow managed to bring down the entirety of Minecraft.

Curse PremiumHow much RAM does your computer have and do you have allocated to Minecraft? Check out this page, the explanation on it is probably better than mine.
I am a mod maker. Check out my mods:
My computer has 8G Ram and ive allocated 4G to mincraft
Did you try updating your Java?
Edit: Or try uninstalling & reinstalling Minecraft.
