Basically my sister is having an issue when trying to install minecraft, about halfway through installing the launcher crashes. the report log states "pixel format not accelerated" now she does have a fairly old laptop so that may be it. I've tried to update the drivers using intel's automatic updater from their website as her graphics card is an intel but no updates were available. here is a link to the dxdiag in case anyone needs it.

Update: turns out by switching to the latest version we at least got minecraft to try initializing but now we have a proper error.
