Let me preface this by detailing my build:
I have an MSI 1070, an i5 6600k, and 16 gigs of Corsair Vengeance. My CPU is water/air cooled.
As I'm playing Minecraft, while I'll get great frames with about forty mods and a shader, every now then the game will
freeze up for about 4 seconds and then resume normally. The longer I play, the worse this'll get, and the longer
the freezes will last. A lot of times by CPU usage is at 100%, which is ridiculous. Eventually, the lag spikes will
hit their peak, and I'll be forced to quit the game. Once I restart the game, all is well until the cycle inevitably
repeats itself. I'm at loss.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Maybe its a mod? Here's my mod list:
