I also had another idea, if it's a wireless mouse, there could be an issue with the connection between the mouse and the USB plug in receiver, or the receiver itself might be going wonky. Trying a new/different mouse would eliminate any of those possibilities.
Nah, faulty receivers cause mouse lag, I've had that before. They don't cause mouse acceleration and over-sensitivity. His problem also happens on the trackpad, so I highly suspect driver issues.

Alright. I have no idea what causes your problem, but give this a shot. It's the only thing that comes to my mind, and it might very well not work, but I have nothing else ):
Search your mouse driver on internet and update them. I know it only happens on minecraft etc, but drivers are magic ok?
Hey... the problem stopped for a long time ( and i dont play mc a lot but I still play it occasionally on days like today). But yes, it started again. Its literally been a month and IT FUDGING STARTED AGAIN. But Wildmind007 I haven't updated windows software from when i downgraded to windows 7. I should update is shouldn't I? And ureilsalis how will it help?
Someone pls help. Let me be more specific. In minecraft (while playing) if i check my inventory, or anything that brings my cursor, nothing happens to the mouse. My mouse starts spazzing out only when i move my mouse (movement of character is fine though). I cant move my mouse properly at all. Its so bad. Its not a mouse problem either.
Updating doesnt help either. My mouse moves fast sometimes anywhere (while im moving it) in any direction and sometimes moves like its lagging across anywhere. (and Its my characters view that moves if anyone is confused)
People have already given pretty much all the advice they can. Have you tried a new mouse? Make sure the drivers are up to date? This is not a common thing, and I believe it's related specifically to your system.

Will a dxdiag help? Though the problem could be just the old laptop. But im so confused due to the fact that this happens only in minecraft. or theres a problem with the launcher??
The launcher is just that - it launches the game. Java takes over from there, if anything it's a Java problem. Or the way Java is interacting with your mouse or mouse driver or the system or something else entirely. Since it's such a rare problem isolating it is almost impossible. Start with a new mouse, that's your cheapest option. Of course, be sure you're using the latest Java.

Look, i do not care anymore about the gaps i am making in this thread and neither should anyone else care about it. I know its been months, but i do not get on very often. Any-who, the problem persists. Its not the mouse,(before u start thinking about how i could've spoilt the mouse, i didn't. This problem happens only in minecraft.) its probably the laptop as this is an old, used one (5 years old maybe) I used the new mouse on another laptop, (that isnt mine) and minecraft works like a charm. So everything leads up to the laptop. Any suggestions as to what i can do to minecraft or my laptop or is it just an old system thing that cant be fixed? [another description as to what happens: on rare occasions, {my beliefs are when its lagging or when im in a server, because well, thats when it happened.} while im walking or using my mouse (not on the menu or inentory or anything) my mouse goes haywire whilst lagging too. this didnt happen for sometime but it keeps happening again and again.] I know this is a lot, but pls help. (my java and windows 7 is up to date, my logitech mouse is fine, unplugging the usb doesnt help, and optifine isnt the problem either.) woo... nearly a year of this thread.

Make sure the sensitivity is set to default in the game and in Windows
