Hello, recently I bought a new gaming computer. I've been playing minecraft on it on servers. After playing for around 20 mins I lag to the point that I get kicked from the server however minecraft does not crash. When ever I rejoin the server I lag so badly I can barley move. This happens on multiple servers and not just one. I'm also pretty sure it has something to do with me talking in chat because if I don't type anything in chat this usually doesn't happen. If anyone could possibly help me out with this issue and tell me what other information I need to provide, it would be greatly appreciated.
No I only have 1 gig allocated, I'm not using any mods, and I'm using a faithful resource pack. I have tried allocating more gigs of ram before, but however this does not seem to help.
Hmm I'm not sure I actually haven't made one word in single player since I have downloaded it. I will try this tomorrow and update you (but I think it will still happen). Anyways I appreciate your help thus far
Hey I just made a new survival single player and the same thing still seems to happen. Is it possible that my computer may not have enough ram for just regular computer functions? If so where could I find out?
EDIT: I just found out how to locate where I could find out how much ram I have (thanks google) and its 8 gigs although im not sure how much goes to gaming and what goes to normal computer functions.
I do not believe my internet speed is the cause of the issue, I think it might be the distribution of the RAM because I just noticed when ever this glitch occurs on minecraft it also causes other things to freeze up and be unresponsive such as google chrome.

Have you allocated more RAM to minecraft? Any mods or resource packs?

Yeah, allocating more makes it worse, thats why I was asking.
Does it happen in singleplayer?
