So me and my brother were playing a modified version of Expedition, He (my brother) connected just fine at first. Then at the next day he kept getting disconnected. Me who hosted saw that he logged in and a split second later he logged off. We use the exact same mods, I copied over everything from my modpack. We tried to make him host it, but then I just sat there and never managed to log on, eventually it would do the same as it did to my brother when trying to connect to me. I've also tried to disable firewall on both computers, made an exception for minecraft's hosting port in the firewall, again in both computers. And I've tried restarting both computers. So at this time, I've no clue what to do.
Ummmm have you turned VBO's off in the video settings? That's the only thing I can think of, because the VBO setting conflicts with many people's graphics card. The problem sounds similar where you are in the server for a split second but it kicks you out.
There's no option wether to turn on or off VBOS for some odd reason, but if thats the reason, then why could we play earlier?
I didn't know what version you were playing, the VBO option was added in a new-ish version of Minecraft. I can't think of anything else that may cause the problem, it's gotta be something to do with your internet or computer settings then.
It has been resolved! Turns out I had to remove the mod that customizes the loot table, the reason was most likely that it was trying to add loot from a mod that was no longer installed, thus creating a error.

Here's all mods that are in the pack:

It only says; Connection To Server Lost, Disconnected. Thats it.

Then your internet connection is dropping or its too slow. Nothing to do with the game
