I wouldn't know where to post this if not in this section, general discussion probably won't lead the right people to my thread. Alright, so here's my issue. Recently, I have been dealing with poor fps when there are a lot of players or mobs near me in minecraft. This happens in both modded and unmodded minecraft. My computer wasn't always like this, as you may be able to tell below. I would like to know what I somehow did to lower my fps. Ad also, I actaully tried some things to fix the issue, but sadly, to no avail. I have the latest java, reinstalled minecraft, factory restarted my entire computer (with a backup, of course), updated my graphics drivers, and here are my specs:
Operating System
Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 4700MQ @ 2.40GHz 96 °C
Haswell 22nm Technology
The first video has the same amount of mods just I don't display fps armor hud or that stuff but judging by the questions you're askin you aren't the kind of person I want answering my question.
Yes but I'm not going to record my screen with a phone now, am I? I have some decency lol. And the recording isn't my problem. Why can't anyone understand that my issue is that my fps, recording or not, are absolute rubbish and down the drain!
Go into your recorder software settings and change it to record at 60 FPS. It's currently set to 30. I don't see the issue with FPS, you're recording at constant 30 with no drops, that is good.
For general gameplay, you are using a laptop with integrated graphics. That CPU temp (96C) is very hot, I recommend looking into some cooling before it gets damaged. Look into using Optifine, it generally boosts performance. Lots of entities on screen will lower the framerate on most computers.
Monitor your temperatures. If you're CPU is really reaching at least up to 96C when you've noticed it, it might be going higher and may be throttling, as your CPU's TjMax is 100C (sometimes throttling starts a few degrees below this). In theory something like 90C is hot but operational (and more normal for a laptop), but it's something worth checking when I saw you mention 96C. It might explain why it was fine before, but not now. Unless you're in the Southern Hemisphere, warmer weather is coming. Also, make sure your PC has good airflow and hasn't gotten a build up of dust over this time.

If you get stable 30 FPS its because its recording at that
Increase it at the settings if you want

I have been looking into building a PC for a bit now, and with my research now know that 90C is insane, I think it might be something with my cooling. Also im using a laptop atm, if I had to guess I think the thermals got affected and are the cause of slow chunk rendering by affecting the gpu. Alright im going to close this thread now good day good sirs and maams goodbye

NONE OF THE MODS I USE CHANGE ANYTHING WITH MY FPS, IF ANYTHING THEY INCREASE BECAUSE OF OPTIFINE!

The exact same thing happens without mods, as I have specified already.
The second video includes a lot of mods, can you show us what happens when you dont have any?

Looks like you have some kind of Vsync enabled, your frames never go over 30. Turn that off and observer results.

Yeah, but that's only when recording ;P when not recording, my fps fluctuate from 30-120 depending on how many entities are in my view.
But thanks for taking the time to actually look for this!
bump
Recording software forces vsync to the framerate they are capturing

Laptops are not good at cooling, clear the vents and change the thermal paste
