Recently while playing minecraft, I needed to use F3 + B to show entity hit boxes. Only to realize, that it doesn't work. All of my other f3 keys work perfectly fine, it's only f3 + b. It used to work on my old mac computer, but it doesn't on my windows. I've already re-installed minecraft, with no luck. If you have any suggestions or tips, please tell me. Thanks!
I've seen a few reports that some of the F3 keys will stop working in the latest snapshots.
Try deleting your options.txt file, reinstalling Java, and reinstalling the actual Minecraft jar files (including the assets folder). That's all basic troubleshooting, I really have no idea what the issue is.
Okay, thanks but when I reinstall everything should I have a backup of my worlds, servers, resource packs etc.? To put it simply, will it reset all my files?

Your call but... I create a copy of my world every time I play!
It's saved my bacon more than once.

You want to delete the jar files, where the actual game code is being stored, not your worlds and other data.
Go into your .minecraft folder and delete this folder:
Replace 'USERNAME' with the username you gave your computer. When you launch your game again, it will re-download the game, but all of your worlds, screenshots, options and servers will stay intact.
