Hello! I have been trying to connect to servers in 1.11.2 . I did a fix tried before in this forum, and it worked, but a week later, I cannot join any. HOWEVER, when I play in 1.8.9, I can successfully connect to ANY SERVER. I tried the fix again for 1.11 that urielsalis gave me on my first post and it didn't work anymore! Please help!
My specs are:
i7-4790
32GB RAM
GTX 970
I have allocated a lot of RAM to Minecraft as well.
All servers on 1.11.2 do not load, but on past versions they did.
Please help! I need to log in to a server before the 15th!

Okay, I have uninstalled iolo and also uninstalled OpenVPN. I restarted my PC, joined Hypixel and it worked! Then I tried joining another server, but it was stuck in downloading terrain. Then, I restarted again, and I can't join Hypixel.

Okay! I downloaded the old launcher, opened Vanilla 1.11.2
nope, didn't work. Still timing out or ending up in a void, then time out
You have to download the old one, those are the insturctions to do so
