I was unsure if this belongs in modded or unmodded because this is caused by mods but affects vanilla. Since the afflicted game is vanilla, I chose here, if I'm wrong please move it. I was playing a heavily modded 1.7.10 and decided to load up vanilla because it lags too bad if I join an older server with mods. But when I looked at the pause screen, headers from mods such as Optifine and BetterPvP were showing up, even though the mods are not installed. What I am basically asking is how is this possible, I thought mods could only affect the forge .jar. In fact, I thought mods never made permanent changes to even that. If it is appearing in vanilla, it means it must be editing classes within the 1.7.10 .jar. Can someone explain WHY its doing this? Thanks!
