My minecraft used to run smoothly, getting a constant 80 fps with about 20 mobs around and 7 render distance, and about 1-2 months ago my fps started dropping to only about 20-40. It also happened suddenly, there was no warning, it just gave me crappy fps one day and my computer hasn't recovered since. I really hope there is a solution.

Curse Premium1. Are your graphics drivers up to date? There is a Jan 2017 version available.
2. Are you playing the same version of MC now as you did "in the past"?
