A bit vague, but that's what's happening. Any world I try to join MP or SP it doesn't start the "Loading World" stuff and just stops responding. I try to create a world and it stops responding. Even if I try to delete a SP world through the client it stop responding.
I don't have any logs of it crashing unless there's somewhere other the the .Minecraft/Logs folder it would be because it's not crashing or anything, it's me having to for close the game via task manager.
I haven't played minecraft in over a year or so, so I thought it might be outdated software or client stuff. I had not problems with minecraft in the past prior to 1.9 and such, my pc specs have not changed at all since.
Things I've tried:
Reinstalling Minecraft completely
Updating Java
Updating GFX driver
Changing VBOs and Vsync (Other settings as low as possible as well)
My specs:
OS-Windows 10 64bit
Motherboard- Asus
Processor-Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz
GFX Card-AMD Radeon R9 200 / HD 7900 Series
Ram-8192Mb
Java Version 8
DirectX Version 12 (Don't know if this matters)
I can provide more information if asked for it.
EDIT//
I made a video showing whats happening, fyi. Creating and loading worlds before on my pc took mere seconds. That's why waiting as long as I did for some of this stuff seemed extremely strange.
EDIT//
Just went back to try older version of minecraft that I know worked before. Has something overall changed in minecraft? I'm having the same problem across all versions...
[13:48:32] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing start region for level 0
[13:48:33] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 9%
Apparently when I tried creating a SP world it got through 9% of loading but got no farther.
It seems to me your computer specs may have a part to play in this after all. Have you tried just leaving it alone when it's like that to see if it eventually works?
EDIT: I also heard the new launcher may be to blame.

Yeah thanks, I figured it was the launcher cause I read something this morning saying it has its on java it runs off of. This is the direct link the fix that runs off java still --> https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/5tdrnw/steps_to_use_the_old_launcher/
