I am preparing to install Better than Wolves, but since 1.5.2 kept crashing in the past, including prior to installing the mod, I thought I'd see if it still crashes.
And the answer is yes. 1.5.2 keeps crashing. I've tried reinstalling Java, I've tried redownloading the 1.5.2 version of the game, and I have tried downgrading my video drivers. No such luck in resolving the issue via those routes, so this is the time I am going to post the error report the game gives me in hopes someone can make heads or tails at what is causing the issue.

If anyone knows how to fix this, I will be grateful.
Well, either installing 1.5.2 to a different directory didn't work or the new launcher doesn't keep everything separate when you install them to different directory. Still crashing after installing 1.11.2 and playing with that version. 1.11.2 is installed to a different directory than 1.5.2.
I am just going to finish building the building I am currently working on the latest version, then uninstall everything and then reinstall 1.5.2 by itself and see how that goes.

But did you try reinstalling Minecraft from scratch?
Well, that seemed to have done the trick.
Well, 1.5.2 seems to be crashing again. I am thinking it might have to do with trying to have the latest version installed as well.
Is there a guide to keeping 1.5.2 file tree pure from 1.11.2 files?
Use different game folders for each version through the launcher profile settings.
Yeah, I just figured that out.
