I've created a minigame where you can spectate and I've had quite a few players say that they were having issues as to where when they started spectating their screen was black. Basically, when a player spectates it teleports the spectator to a certain player(seeker in the minigame) repeatedly and also changes the spectator's gamemode to spectator mode.
Commands:
testfor @a with a certain score
makes the player join a scoreboard team
changes the player's gamemode to spectator
clears their inventory
tellraw at the player with a clickable text that can exit spectator mode
sets the player's score so that the player repeatedly gets teleported to the seeker player
resets the trigger event
