I cant seem to get minecraft new launcher to go past the MOJANG screen. It keeps freezing.

The only thing that has changed on my computer is there was a windows updates, and I ran CCleaner. To clean up some files. I am pretty sure that's all I did.

I can't get it to load now. I have reinstalled, and I have uninstalled java, and I have all the correct drivers for my video card. I keep hearing about something like META-INF is that something I should try? And if so how?

PLease someone help me, just a day ago I was recording a modded version of minecraft with forge, and playing and recording with no problems. ANd now I can't get into minecraft at all. I could go back to the old launcher, but I really don't want to since my daughter found the new launcher very easy to use and never asked me for help as much.

PLEASE HELP I DONT KNOW WHAT I DID.

Oh and theres is no crash report because it just freezes and when I have to close it because it stops responding it says GAME CRASHED for an unexpected reason, and sometimes it says Java Platform SE

Does it say Minecraft Launcher is not responding or Java is not responding? different bug reports for each

It doesn't say either the game freezes and I have ctrl alt delete and pull up task manager and then exit the java platform. and then the message reads Game Crashed for unknown reason.
