i've been playing my custom modpack for a long time now, yesterday i added the mod 'in-game wiki' and run my game, i click on an item recipe and my game crashes. so i removed the mod and even re installed NEI, no use. it still crashes, here's the report
Did you try removing the mod that made NEI start functioning weird in the first place?
NullPointerException, from my experience, usually means that something is out of place and the game doesn't know what to do with it (like two torches somehow occupying the same space, I somehow did this and it would crash my world until I removed the torches with MCedit).
It's likely the in-game wiki mod is throwing something off, and is best left without with your current mod pack.

i deleted the mod and re installed NEI as i said with all it's addons, still failing
Did you try starting a new world?
i did, abysallcraft was making me crash. thanks anyways!
