I want to start off by saying there is.. not much to say. I tried some basic "Server list deleted, server list corrupted" searches and found nothing of the sort. All I found was people with their entire lists wiped out. Showing 0 servers. Here's what happened to me (After logging out of a server, exiting minecraft, and restarting my PC.)
The "Empty" servers are devoid of information. Editing them shows no name or IP. I restarted my client and PC but wasn't able to recover it. It's not a huge deal (I remember the IPs and servers I lost) but it does seem interesting and definitely worth looking into.
