This has been an issue for a very long time, just its gotten worse with this new mudpack Infinity Beyond. Basically ion previous modpacks when I would load a new modpack or play one I would get an item or two that would not show up, they ARE there, just invisible. So like a Hammer that is in my inventory and I can use it, just can't see it. I have looked before for a solution and never see anything, so I ignored it and worked around the invisible items.
Then this mudpack I noticed the the entire mod of Thermal Foundation I can't see ANY of it...not items, not ores, not ingots etc. I have tried working around it, but with this many items it's getting increasingly harder to play.
So I run an iMac with latest version of OS X, and 32 Gigs of Ram, just in case that question comes up.

Everything is updated and installed correctly, in fact i had an issue with the modpack getting corrupted and removed and it and installed a new version of it. What and how do i make a game log? Not sure what that would show exactly, but I'm game to provide what I can.

game log? also try updating your java/making sure the mods are installed

Find your crash logs in AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports
Open the latest log.
