I am playing on a LAN server with my brother using tekkit legends. His skin is loaded fine but for some reason i am still using steve, we are both using sphax purebdcraft x64, with the legends patch. I can see my skin on vanilla minecraft but not legends, I was able to see my skin yesterday, what happened, I tried re-uploading and re logging in.
Sounds like it's a problem with either the Tekkit server or Minecraft's servers (where player skins are stored), not anything on your client. Sometimes servers act goofy.
As as long as you can still play the game without issue, all I can say is just wait it out, the problem may be fixed soon.
