Okay, It has only started on Sunday and I'm sort of worried if it's just a malfunction.
Whenever I launch Minecraft (The internet is online and it says "Play" not "Play Offline") I click "Multiplayer and when the servers appear, all they say is "Can't connect to server" I have tried refreshing it, I have tried logging in and then out, nothing, I'm really not too sure on where I have gone wrong, anyone care to explain??
I don't know if you tried connecting to the servers, but you should try.
If you can connect, it is just an inoffensive visual problem.
Otherwise, you should check your firewall to see if minecraft is allowed and disable the internet module on Avast
