I just bought a new laptop (win10), installed a fresh copy of vanilla Minecraft v1.11.2, cranked it up in singleplayer mode and viola it works. Great, next step connect to my realm server and lo and behold I receive the attached error.
Hmmm might be a firewall issue, as the server is green as others can connect and play on it. So I opened up the ports 80, 443, 26000-28000 for both TCP/UDP under outbound. No change, so I added the same rules to inbound, still no change. Hmmm let's try just disabling the firewall, nope still can't connect. Funny thing is that it works great locally, just can't connect to the realm server.
