I've been currently having a major issue with modded Minecraft.

Every time I attempt to load up either of these modpacks I'm shortly prompted with the 'Java(Tm) Platform SE Binary Has Stopped Working' popup.

I know for sure that this does not have anything to do with my available memory, I've had up to 8gs allocated with no change, or my version of Java, I have tried both 32 and 64 bit versions.

I will mention that with the new launcher I have no way of collecting crash logs. My logs simply don't generate, and when I activate the output log it remains blank.

I believe that this may have something to do with RfTools, as in both circumstances it crashes on the initialization of that mod, yet I am hesitant to disable it as it may be crucial to the packs.

So I found the logs, turns out that they are being printed even though the output log is empty.

Anyways, I now believe this to be a graphical issue, yet I have no idea how to fix it.

It didn't let me input the entire thing, so here's the part leading up to the crash.
