I deleted my Minecraft folder to just clean everything up and have a fresh start, but now that I'm trying to download the game again, it will not finish. I tried the latest update first, and currently, I'm trying 1.10.2. The download always gets stuck right at the end, at /game/end/end.ogg. I've left it for over 30 minutes and nothing happens. I've closed and opened the launcher a few times, have re-connected to the internet, checked my download speed (nothing wrong) and disabled anti-virus. It just keeps getting stuck! How can I get around this?

This problem is common if you are using bytefence. I recommend uninstalling bytefence. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-5546
