Okay... Hello There Answer-ers! So My Problem Is :
That I Play On A Server... And Recently There Has Been A Restart So Suddenly I Couldn't Connect To The Server Again As It Said At First "Pinging" For A Long Period Of Time Then It Goes On "Cannot Connect To The Server" (Yes, That Red Disgusting Message). I Contacted The Owner And He Declared That After The Restart, The Server Connection Needs To Again Reach Throughout The World Again, So Maybe It Didn't Reach My Area Yet. So It Was True And After A Few Hours It Came Online. This Is The Previous Incident I Faced.
Now, Again There Was A Restart And It Was The Same Thing Happened Like Before, But This Time It Wont Connect At All. I Waited For 1 Whole Day And It Wont Just Connect. I Asked The Owner And He Says Its Working Just Fine For Everyone Else And There Was Only A Small Restart Which Can Hardly Be The Cause Of My Problem. Now I Am Using VPN (HotsSpotSheild) To Connect To The Server And Can Successfully Connect. But What Is The Matter With My Connection Then? I Tried All Procedures, Eg : Restarting Connection Device, Restarting PC, Updating Java, Etc Etc. Honestly I Hate Using VPN As It Gives Me Kinda Average Ping.
Since it works with a VPN and not your normal connection, is there something that may be blocking your connection, either a firewall, something at your ISP, or even something in your country that blocks access to where the server is located? What does a trace route to the server's IP address show?
