When installing the new launcher (2.0.806), and creating a profile with version 1.7.2, when entering the game there is no sound of any kind, and in language none appears

I chose this version because I want to install mods that only work in that version

any solution?

Go to https://minecraft.net/en/download/alternative, and download the Second Minecraft.exe available on that page.

Solve the problem of sound, now when installing forge for that version, and when trying to run the profile of forge, does not open the game, any ideas?

Forge might be badly installed as its expecting the new launcher, install it manually

When installing forge manually, the game does not detect change, as if it had not been installed
I do not understand why using the installer, and trying to open the game in that version, does not open the game
