Opened up Mc today, and to my deep frustration found that the game crashes more or less the second after I hit the play button, both in vanilla and in modded. (Farming Valley, is the pack I tried to open first, then vanilla.)

So after about 2 hours of googling and trying everything I can think of and everything suggested, I am hanging up my hat and coming to you all for help.
Restarted the comp, uninstalled Mc & Java, fiddled with the java arguments, the only thing I have yet to do is update the graphics card, which I will do in the morning.
