The problem is every time I make a new profile, In a new profile the resolution is complete wrong. if I keep it in say ./minecraft it works fine. if I say put a new profile in ./minecraft/testuser it looses its resolution and the options.txt doesn't show anything different. I tried reddit but no ONE has any idea whats causing this. I am putting the resolution in the launcher under the profile user name in advanced settings.
I set the resolution in the launcher to 1920 x 1080p in default folder the client launches that way, if i set to ./minecraft/testuser it is the normal default res (854x480) (looks really blockish) at full screen but the launcher is 1920 x 1080
in both folders the options.txt is showing this override Width:0 override Height:0
I tried setting it 1920 x 1080 in the testuser folder with overrideWidth:1920 overrideHeight:1080 but that did NOT change the resolution of the client at all
I even had it create a new profile in a folder that didn't exist no errors but exact same issue.
