When trying to launch the game through the launcher it will return back to the launcher with an error stating the game has crashed.

Java version: 1.8 update 121 / 64 and 32 bit

I've tried to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft

Removed and reinstalled Java

GPU drivers are up to date (I'm using AMD, not Nvidia so I don't think it's the Geforce driver issue)

Turned antivirus off

Ran as administrator

I'm not using an Nvidia card. I have an R9 390x which I've already updated to the latest drivers

You had a nvidia card on that install before?

I've never had an Nvidia card installed. Only ever used AMD

It just started working and I can finally play. I haven't made any changes in the last 24 hours. I'll report back if the issues comes back
