So for the past probably 2 months now, every time i try to go on a multiplayer server i get the error: "Failed to login: Authentication servers are currently down for maintenance." Its also happening to my sister who is in the room right next to me. If all you have to say is "oh the servers were down" then don't post. This has been happening for about 2 months now so that is definitely not it. Please Help!
Trend Micro HijackThis is a utility that is used to collect diagnostic reports of your computer to help narrow down an issue you may be having. Download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/files/2.0.520beta/HijackThis.exe/download Run the program, choose "I accept", then "Do a scan and save a log file". After a while a text file will open. Copy everything, put the log on http://paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.

You asked for help and they are trying to help but you refuse? That program will help determine if you have been hijacked and something has blocked your access in your hosts file among some other things. By your own admission you don't utilize antivirus protection so that may in fact be where your issues lies; just saying.

Try turning off your firewall. If turning off the firewall fixes your problem. Allow minecraft on your firewall. It might be also blocked on your router.

I was also wondering if this was related to a trojan?
