I have solved this issue on my own: It was not about a particular mod but rather CPU usage. While I was unable to fix that general issue I was actually able to remove myself from the problem area! By deleting all the Player data for my username from the server. This required going into the system files and tracking down the number the server had randomly assigned me and so on and so forth and deleting my userdata from every file labeled data or world data. As well as editing a couple of .json files. It reset me to my spawn and honestly thats all I needed.
About: A few days ago a player on my server ran off in search of a snow biome. This caused the usual chunk spawning lag while I was working on my own stuff miles away. A few mins later the server crashed. The first thing I did was TP to the coords and then got myself stuck in a crash cycle. I was pretty sure I was going to lose the whole server at that point.
But then looking over the crash logs I noticed that it had to do with some special spawns from a mod. I turned those off in the config and was able to connect without issue again.
However while mapping the ocean nearby my town, for decorative purposes, I ran into that lag again. And crashed. But this time the crash report isn't giving me much to work with :/
I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I'd like to be able to get on my own server again.
I'm ready to accept that this is possibly a hardware issue rather than software. But I'd really rather have a second pair of eyes look it over first.
The server it's self is only using about 55% of its allotted storage but I realize that storage and memory usage are different things.
The mods that I think could be the cause can't just simply be removed though. They are world gen mods and already have generated structures and elements in the world. Removing them will cause the map to become unusable.
So I guess I'm looking for a work around to fix this. As I said before, turning off spawns after they have already spawned does not appear to affect the map currently. At least with WTF Underground mod. I'm not sure how the roguelike dungeons will fare since it could be that part of them goes off into an unloaded chunk.
Update: Was able to get it to sort of half way solve the problem. At the very least I am no longer at the bottom of the ocean. Login shield was able to kick in at least and move me into some cavern underneath.
The crashlog indicates that the roguelike dungeons, pam's harvestcraft, abyssal craft and hemp farmer are causing the issues. Id try to backup the server, delete those from server, and try to play (world will still be usable, but it will lack harvestcraft things and dungeons from 'roguelike dungeons' mod). Your best bet is to update all those mods, your java version, and try if the thing persists in a newly generated world.
Yeah removing them is not really the option here. Its not any ONE of those mods. Which have more or less been fine for the last month or so. And I very very much doubt its either of the agricultural mods. Its definitely the dungeons mod. But like I can't just YANK them out of the world and expect it to run. All I can do is turn off the Spawn rate. Because other than me... off in the ocean. All alone. It's honestly working just fine.
Update: I turned off some of the configs in Roguelike dungeons and WTF Underground.
Now the crash report is more or less the same but seems to be blaming Mo Creatures for the crash.
I'll update the Crash Report at the top with the new one.

Now the crash report is more or less the same but seems to be blaming Mo Creatures for the crash.
I'll update the Crash Report at the top with the new one.
