I've had several problems with running Minecraft since the launcher update
The first problem occurs when I try to enter my selected world (in Single Player). Usually, it crashes once or twice and returns me to the launcher before finally allowing me to play the game. I pretty much just have to relaunch the game a couple of times before I can actually get to the game.
The second problem is a little more sinister. I'll be going about my business as normal, when suddenly the game "freezes". I put "freezes" in quotes because the game still appears to be running, I'm just basically stuck looking at a screenshot of whatever I was doing. I still hear the sounds of things around me, I can still move around blindly (which I can only discover on reopening the game), and the mouse cursor still appears when I hit Esc or pull up the inventory. I don't play in fullscreen mode, so whenever it "freezes" I just hit Esc and close out the window.
I'm running Windows 10 on an HP laptop, 1 TB hard drive, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, i7 quad-core processor. I've knocked the game down to its bare minimum settings, but nothing has helped

I tried, and it told me:
"The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."
I've installed the most up to date driver from HP I could find
