I am playing a moddec pack and even though I disable auto-jumpit still works.Since it works with unmodded Minecraft I assume that one of more of the mods is causing it but I have no idea which. Her is a list of the mods I am using. I hope someone might be able to help me.

From my knowledge in running Modded servers for over four years, I'm pretty sure none of the mods you've listed could cause that. On a very long shot, perhaps it's Waila. I suggest getting a fresh install if it's a modpack, if it's not made by you, check around, and see if anyone else is having the issues with that modpack. IF you made it, just grab fresh copies of all the mods. Try reinstalling Minecraft, otherwise I'm out of ideas.
I created a new game and found that I can turn it on and off in it but in the game that I've been playing in I can't. Obviously something in the game itself has changed and is causing this. There is most likely something in the save game that I could change to correct it but without more knowledge I would have no idea what. I've put so much effort into the game that it is not worth it to start over. Particularly if I don;t know what caused it in the first place. Thanks for trying though.
I really hate autojump. I work a lot on high structures, and kept jumping of edges before I turned it off. Guess its fine for rapid cross-country running, but I'd rather use the space bar.
