New launcher! I personally prefer the old launcher better - not trying to start an opinion war. Since I got an SSD in my laptop, I've been having the same issues as my brother - launcher gets stuck on minecraft/sounds/mobs/irongolem/hit4.ogg or whatever order it is. I suppose I was too lazy to do a search on this, but now the bloody new launcher fails to download the stupid file.
Like, I don't understand! FIX IT please. Or go back to the old launcher, because other people with added SSDs will probably have problems with this as well. Either you developers don't consider this or are trying to get rid of players? I hope you're just to lazy to check out these other problems . . .
If I could get any help logging into my game with this new launcher, please help.

ByteFence is known to cause issues with Minecraft's installing and updating process. You will need to uninstall it. Steps can be found in the mod notice here: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-5546

All these threads complaining about the new launcher and I've been using it since like 2.0.1somthing and I haven't had any of these problems.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
