Today my minecraft 1.11.2 stops working. I cannot load any world or create any new world at all. It stuck at "Building Terrain" forever. I tried the following and nothings seem to work.

1) Reinstall minecraft. ( I went to the extreme of deleting .minecraft folder and clean up registry manually and then reinstall)

2) Install latest Java runtime. ( it is on 8.121 now)

3) Update the graphic driver as some posts suggested

I downloaded minecraft on a different computer which never had any minecraft on it before and it works fine. But I would like to get this one to work because this is a much faster machine.

Can someone help?

Did that also. No difference.

You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place.
To do so, press your Windows+R keys, type in %AppData% at the dialog, and press Enter. In the window that appears, open the .minecraft directory, and delete everything except for the saves directory that you see therein. Then, try running Minecraft again. Good luck!
