So a while back (Vanilla) Minecraft became so laggy that I couldn't play and the game would crash. Before that happened my computer ran it fine with 64-bit Java. I don't think I downloaded anything, and I never intentionally changed my settings. Long story short, I was able to play again after switching to 32-bit Java. It was an okay band-aid for Vanilla, but I can't play mods doing the same. I am up to date my softwares and Java and I run games on 64-bit all the time, just not Minecraft. I'm not super computer savy, but if anyone has suggestions or has experienced the same thing, help me out :(. I just want to get my mining on with some friends. When I load TPPI, it takes about 15min to finish, but then when it finally loads I get the (Not Responding) in the window and when it does respond it takes about 10 seconds to recognize my cursor is hovering over a tab, then it goes back to not responding.
Things I've Tried:
Adjusting RAM fromt he ranges of 2-7GB
Adding "-Xincgc" to the Java Args
Uninstalling and Reinstalling Minecraft, Technic Launcher, Java 32-bit/64-bit
Updating my NVIDIA stuff
Running Vanilla through Technic on 64-bit Java (a little laggy, but I created a new world, so I would expect that)
Running TPPI on 32-bit Java (Lol) - It loaded quicker in the console, but crashed.
Deleting all files in .technic and trying to download it again
Edit: The console shows the loading halts for a few minutes each on these:
[B#349] 2017-02-11 18:10:58 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: magicbees:textures/items/nuggetNickel.png
[B#349] 2017-02-11 18:14:08 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: minecraft:textures/blocks/MISSING_ICON_TILE_2138_null.png (takes the longest)
[B#349] 2017-02-11 18:22:12 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: arsmagica2:textures/items/spells/components/Nauseate.png
Edit: I was able to correct the 64-bit problem in Vanilla by going to .minecraft and deleting everything in the file except saves.
FIXED: NVIDIA by default was using an intergrated graphics processor rather than using my actually gaming graphics card. Changed the setting in NVIDIA, which allowed me to play.
