I'm having a problem where it refuses to download certain files (mostly seems to be... language files?) because it says something is currently running Minecraft, even though it's definitely not running.
It seems to be a different language file every time, but I'm going to use this one as my example. I have removed my personal name and replaced it with my username.

ByteFence is known to cause issues with Minecraft's installing and updating process. You will need to uninstall it. Steps can be found in the mod notice here, https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-5546
