For years I have been forcing Antialiasing and Supersampling on Minecraft through the Nvidia control panel without issues. You also have to set fboEnable:false in Minecraft's options.txt file for it to work, and set these settings in the Nvidia control panel: https://puu.sh/tXlad/1669d7ef43.png
It renders fine without forcing AA and SS, but Minecraft looks incredibly aliased and jaggy without it, making the game an eyesore. Optifine's AA implementation is garbage and doesn't smooth well. I have tried a fresh Minecraft install with and without Optifine, and the game still renders incorrectly while forcing AA and SS.
Minecraft 1.11.2
Nvidia Driver 378.57
Optifine B7

In my main post I stated that fboEnable is set to false. I have also tried various mipmap levels, including 0.
Report it to nvidia http://www.nvidia.com/object/driverqualityassurance.html and downgrade
