Minecraft was working yesterday but today on launch it says "unpacking laucher" for a few seconds and then a dialog appears saying "Unable to update the Minecraft Game Launcher".

Logs aren't particularly helpful here:

10-02-2017 14:54:46 - going to update MinecraftLauncher.exe using C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/tmp/tmpLauncher.tmp
Launcher is definitely closed.
Couldn't move C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/tmp/tmpLauncher.tmp to MinecraftLauncher.exe: error 5
Both move and copy failed during try #1, waiting a moment before trying again
Couldn't move C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/tmp/tmpLauncher.tmp to MinecraftLauncher.exe: error 5

Moved C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/tmp/tmpLauncher.tmp to MinecraftLauncher.exe successfully

anyone else experienced this? Disk is okay, 15GB of space free so its not out of space.
