I'm still on the old launcher, whenever I try to download the new launcher from reddit, I just get the error message "problem moving Minecraft_staging.exe with error code 5".

Nevermind! Sorry for wasting your time.
After downloading the new launcher I just had to resize the launcher and remembered that size when I opened it up again.
comment on the bugtracker with as much info as you can(as version, os, resolution, etc)
