I updated my minecraft launcher and now it unpacks and everything and then it gives me a white screen of death. I tried uninstalling minecraft and reinstalling it but have same problem. Please help. Also before I updated I couldn't do single player.

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft. On 32-bit Windows, the path is C:\Program Files\Minecraft.
2. Right-click MinecraftLauncher.exe, and select Properties.
3. On the Compatability tab, uncheck Run this program in compatability mode for.
4. Click OK.
5. Attempt to launch Minecraft again.
