I can not play Multiplayer (LAN World) suddenly. I was able to play until yesterday.

My husband and my daughter can play Multiplayer now.

And I can play only Singleplayer.

Error message is...

"Failed to connect to the server

Internal Exception: Java.lang.NullPointerException"

OS X 10.9.5、Minecraft1.11.2
Launcher 2.0.764 (update today)

How can I play Multiplayer with my family?

i have OSX 10.11.4 i have the same error. since i update the minecraft launcher. i can't connect to my local server (it's running on the same mac) and to my server through the internet (server is by a friend) both give me the same error.

My husband and my daughter can play Multiplayer now. They also use mac (Sierra and Lion).

My husband updated launcher(2.0.764). And He created a LAN server.

But my daughter could not update launcher. Maybe because Java version is too old.

I think that there is a problem with new launcher(2.0.764).

Only log out and log in again!
